The discovery was made just before 7 a.m. by a relative who came across the scene and contacted emergency services.

The property where Lunn was found is the same location where 18-year-old Kylee Monteiro’s body was recovered in August, a detail that has added another layer of attention and concern to the ongoing investigation. Authorities have not indicated any direct connection between the two incidents but confirmed that both occurred at the same address.

Alongside Lunn in the van was his wife, a 48-year-old woman whose name has not been made public. She was also found unresponsive but alive. First responders immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she remains in critical but stable condition, according to the district attorney’s office.

Two dogs were also inside the van at the time of the incident. Both pets were removed safely and placed under the care of Rehoboth Animal Control. Officials reported that the animals appeared to be unharmed and are expected to recover fully.
