Detectives from the Colerain Township Police Department’s Criminal Investigative Unit responded to both locations to begin gathering evidence and interviewing potential witnesses. While the man’s death on Owlcrest Drive appeared to be a suicide, police said circumstances surrounding Blevins’ death indicated foul play. As a result, her case is now being investigated as a homicide.

Investigators said that preliminary findings show that Coach and Blevins knew each other, and they believe the two incidents are linked. At this time, police have stated that there is no indication of any third-party involvement and that the deaths were isolated between the two individuals.
